A winning Powerball ticket promising a $50,000 payday was purchased at a Long Island business.

The ticket was sold in Selden, at JP Liquor on Boyle Road, for the drawing held Saturday, March 1, New York Lottery announced.

Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers were: 2-23-36-44-49 and the Powerball is 25.

Players can check their ticket status on the New York Lottery website.
